Skarmory is a dual Steel/Flying-type Pokémon feared for its incredible defense and razor-sharp wings. Humans in the past used its fallen feathers to craft high-quality swords and knives. It nests in thorny brambles, where its chicks' skin hardens from being scratched by the thorns.
This papercraft project is an intermediate-to-advanced build. The complexity lies in the layered wing feathers and the thin, spindly legs that must support a fairly large wingspan. Getting the iconic "v-shape" of the tail and the hollow look of the wings requires precise cutting and careful alignment of the internal red segments.
