[Hollow Knight] Broken Vessel papercraft​


Broken Vessel is one of the main bosses in Hollow Knight. It blocks the way to the Monarch Wings. Lost Kin is its dream variant.

Broken Vessel is one of the many Vessels who escaped the Abyss like the Knight, but unlike the Knight, was met with a tragic death while still in Hallownest. Its corpse was forgotten in a windy cave deep within the Ancient Basin before the Monarch Wings where the Infection has spread.
Broken Vessel is found in a room of the Ancient Basin that is overgrown with Infection bulbs. When approached, Lightseeds rush to fill its broken shell, forming a large protruding bulb. The Infection reanimates the husk and causes it to attack the Knight. Like other Vessels, it has no voice, but the Infection within screams like the Radiance. Upon defeat, Broken Vessel's husk is cleared from the Infection, and it reaches out to the Knight before finally collapsing.
Using the Dream Nail on the husk afterwards brings the Knight to a dream. There, Lost Kin, a stronger form of Broken Vessel, still taken over by Lightseeds, can be fought. After its defeat, the spirit of Broken Vessel floats above its husk. Appearing unmarred, it offers the Knight a silent bow before shattering into 400 Essence to be collected by the Dream Nail.

La Vasija Rota es una de las muchas Vasijas que escaparon del Abismo como el Caballero, pero a diferencia de este, sufrió una muerte trágica mientras aún se encontraba en Hallownest. Su cadáver fue olvidado en una cueva ventosa en las profundidades de la Cuenca Antigua, frente a las Alas del Monarca, donde se ha propagado la Infección.
El Vaso Roto se encuentra en una habitación de la Cuenca Antigua, repleta de bulbos de Infección. Al acercarse, las Semillas de Luz se apresuran a llenar su cáscara rota, formando un gran bulbo protuberante. La Infección reanima la cáscara y la hace atacar al Caballero. Al igual que otros Vasos, no tiene voz, pero la Infección en su interior grita como el Resplandor. Tras ser derrotado, la cáscara del Vaso Roto se libera de la Infección y se extiende hacia el Caballero antes de colapsar.
Usar el Aguijón Onírico en la cáscara lleva al Caballero a un sueño. Allí, se puede combatir a Pariente Perdido, una forma más poderosa de Vasija Rota, aún dominada por las Semillas de Luz. Tras su derrota, el espíritu de Vasija Rota flota sobre su cáscara. Apareciendo intacto, ofrece al Caballero una reverencia silenciosa antes de desintegrarse en 400 Esencias para ser recolectadas por el Aguijón Onírico.
