Onix is a massive dual-type Rock/Ground Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region. Its body is composed of giant, rugged grey boulders that decrease in size toward its tail. Onix is a master of tunneling, capable of burrowing through the earth at 50 miles per hour, leaving massive tunnels in its wake.
