The Iron Giant Papercraft
The Iron Giant is a 1999 American animated science fiction film using both traditional and computer animation, produced by Warner Bros. Feature Animation produced and directed Brad Bird's feature film debut. Based on Ted Hughes' 1968 novel The Iron Man (titled for release in the US as The Iron Giant), the screenplay was written by Tim McCanlies from the beginning of the story handled by Bird. The film features the voices of Eli Marienthal, Christopher McDonald, Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick, Jr., John Mahoney and Vin Diesel. Set during the Cold War in 1957, the film tells the story of a boy named Hogarth Hughes who discovers and befriends a giant robot that fell from outer space. With help from beatnik artist Dean McCoppin, they managed to stop the US military and a paranoid federal agent named Kent Mansley from discovering and destroying the giant.
