The heroine of this film is a 17-year-old high school girl living in Miyazaki , Kyushu with her aunt Tamaki. She has a ponytail tied with a red string. She lived with her mother Tsubame when she was born. But when she reached the age of 4, she suffered many losses due to the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami . To see her mother again after she died in the hospital, she had to go through the door, being raised by her aunt, when she was a child she often dreamed of walking in the meadow. She has two classmates named Aya (AyaAya (Follow)) and Mami(マミ ) Because she accidentally opened the door that caused disaster, she embarked on a journey with the wandering Munakata Sōta. After the adventure ended, she said goodbye to Sōta and Serizawa and returned to Miyazaki and focused on preparing for next year's exams. She meets Sōta again a few months later.
