Slugma is a pure Fire-type Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region. Its body is made entirely of molten magma, which requires it to stay in constant motion to prevent its body from cooling and hardening into stone. Because it has no internal skeleton, its shape is fluid and wavy, often leaving a trail of scorching heat wherever it slides.
