Ariados is the evolved form of Spinarak, a dual-type Bug/Poison Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region. It resembles a large, red and purple spider with long, striped legs and a single horn on its head. Ariados is a patient hunter that can spin webbing from both its mouth and its rear, allowing it to ensnare prey from multiple directions.
