Magcargo is a dual-type Fire/Rock Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region. It is the evolved form of Slugma, known for its body composed of bright red, molten magma. Its most striking feature is the brittle, rocky shell on its back, which is actually hardened lava that cools and cracks constantly. Magcargo’s body temperature is estimated to be hotter than the surface of the sun, causing the air around it to shimmer with intense heat.
