ZIL-131 is a multi-purpose truck designed and started production in the Soviet Union in 1966. It was born to replace its predecessor, the ZIL-157. By 1994, when the ZIL-131 was discontinued, nearly one million vehicles had been produced. Although "age" is no longer "young", ZIL-131 is still widely used by the Russian military and some other countries.
