Trigun: Vash's AGL Arms .45 Long Colt (Detail) papercraft
The .45 Long Colt (EF Auto Ejecting, Double Action) is Vash and Knives' weapon of choice. The modern .45 Long Colt cartridge has ballistic properties equal to, or even surpassing, those of a .44 magnum cartridge. These guns are not based on normal revolvers, but are a mash-up of features from various real-world revolvers. Probable examples include a break action frame reminiscent of an MP412 REX, and a barrel with a low bore axis, firing from the bottom of the cylinder, similar to some Mateba revolvers.
