Abraham Ford is a main character in the pandemic television series The Walking Dead , first appearing in Season 4 . In the early days of the outbreak, he, along with his wife and children, took refuge in a grocery store in Houston, Texas. After witnessing Abraham brutally slaughtering those who harmed his family, his wife and children abandoned him out of fear. Later, he happened to meet Eugene Porter , who claims to be a scientist who knows how to cure the disease and needs to go to Washington, DC . Along with Rosita Espinosa , Abraham escorted Eugene on a mission until he met Rick Grimes' group.in the state of Georgia and joined their group.
