Lunar Rover papercraft
Model size: length 22 cm, height 11 cm
The Lunar Rover is a lunar rover featured in the 2009 movie "Moon." It's a more classic SF movie in the style of 2001: A Space Odyssey. The film is carried almost exclusively by the brilliant actor Sam Rockwell. Rockwell plays astronaut Sam Bell, who works all alone on a lunar base for a ruthless corporation. By chance, he realizes that something is wrong here... Bell has three lunar vehicles at his disposal. A crane, one with a generator, and one to transport the Helium3 capsules. This particular rover (#01) plays an important role in the film.
It is structurally simple with its very angular appearance at first glance, but the tires and some details made things a bit more complex than initially thought. With almost 400 components and some tricky corners you should have some patience and experience for the model.
