Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation manufactured the Boomerang under contract production numbers CA-12 , CA-13 , CA-14 and CA-19 , the aircraft being supplied under each contract subsequently incorporating modifications and improvements. The Boomerang was important because it was the first fighter designed and built in Australia.
