Android Number 17 known as Lapis before being kidnapped, is the twin brother of Android Number 18. After his change from human to Android, they inserted a chip with the aim of destroying Son Goku, who in his youth exterminated the Red Army Ribbon.
Android 17 makes his return in Dragon Ball Super, he works as a ranger and secretly trains in order to fulfill his mission to protect an island from exotic fauna.
He was summoned by Goku, to be part of the Universe 7 team in the Tournament of Power, where he was the last one on the platform, and Winner as such. His wish to Super Shenron was: "Return the universes that disappeared to normal."
