Le parc Disneyland a été le premier parc à thème de la Walt Disney Company construit sur les deux parcs à thème du Disneyland Resort à Anaheim, en Californie, et a ouvert ses portes le 17 juillet 1955.

Walt Disney a eu l'idée de Disneyland après avoir visité divers parcs à thème avec ses filles dans les années 1930 et 1940. Il envisageait à l'origine de construire une attraction touristique homogène à côté de ses studios à Burbank dans le but de divertir les fans en visite. Après avoir embauché un consultant pour l'aider à déterminer un site approprié pour son projet, Disney a acheté une propriété de 160 acres près d'Anaheim en 1953. La construction a commencé en 1954 et le parc a été annoncé lors d'un événement de presse télévisé spécial sur la télévision ABC le 17 juillet 1955.

Disneyland Park was the first theme park of the Walt Disney Company built upon the two theme parks at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim , California and opened on July 17, 1955.

Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various theme parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s. He originally envisioned building a seamless tourist attraction adjacent to his studios in Burbank for the purpose of entertaining visiting fans. After hiring a consultant to help determine a suitable site for its project, Disney purchased a 160-acre property near Anaheim in 1953. Construction began in 1954 and The park was announced in a special televised press event on ABC television on July 17, 1955.
