[Botpa] Santa Claus papercraft
The story of Santa Claus living in the North Pole may well be a creation of Nast. His Christmas picture in Harper's December 29, 1866, was a collage of engravings titled Santa Claus and His Works , which contained the caption "Santa Claussville, NP" A collection Nast's coloring book, published in 1869, contains a poem also titled "Santa Claus and His Works" by George P. Webster, who wrote that Santa Claus's home was "near the North Pole, in the ice and snow ".

Die Geschichte vom am Nordpol lebenden Weihnachtsmann könnte durchaus eine Erfindung von Nast sein. Sein Weihnachtsbild in Harper's vom 29. Dezember 1866 war eine Collage aus Stichen mit dem Titel Santa Claus and His Works, die die Überschrift „Santa Claussville, NP“ enthielt. Eine Sammlung von Nasts Malbuch, veröffentlicht 1869, enthält ein Gedicht, das ebenfalls den Titel „Santa Claus“ trug und seine Werke“ von George P. Webster, der schrieb, dass das Zuhause des Weihnachtsmanns „in der Nähe des Nordpols, in Eis und Schnee“ lag.
