UAZ-469, commonly known in Vietnam as the U-W car, is an all-terrain vehicle manufactured by Ulyanovskiy Avtomobilnyi Zavod, ie UAZ of the Soviet Union. The vehicle was widely used by the Red Army and armed forces of the Warsaw Pact countries, as well as by semi-guerrilla units in the Eastern Bloc.
