Apex Legends Loot Tick papercraft
Dimensions (A4 paper): 20 x 20 x 17 cm (scale 1:5)
Dimensions (A4 paper): 20 x 20 x 17 cm (scale 1:5)
During a match of the Apex Games, several Loot Ticks are hidden across the map in remote corners. These tetrahedron-headed Ticks glow a purple or gold light, are unmoving and occasionally emit a clipped buzzing sound to hint at their location when one is nearby. If a competitor locates a Loot Tick, they can harmlessly destroy it and reveal three random pieces of kit, at least one of which will be of purple or gold quality depending on the color of light coming from the tick; they can also be pinged so teammates will recognize where it is located.
Outside of a match, Loot Ticks are also how Apex Packs - the so-called loot boxes - are visualized. They can be of varying design to illustrate what minimum level of rarity at least one cosmetic will be before it is opened.

*Disclaimer: This model contains a lot of small pieces and might require some advanced papercrafting skills.
