I’m new to doing paper craft and wanted to start with the snow miku 2012, but I’m having trouble cutting and knowing where I’m supposed to cut.
Are there any tutorials I can see a list of materials or things I should know about?
Thanks!

Hey! The tools I use for cutting are mainly X-acto knives or scissors. I prefer using scissors for more control and faster cutting. You must cut on the black lines of the pieces as shown in this image (cut on the cut line and respect the fold lines - that's the thumb rule)

I'll be making more papercraft tutorials, but you can refer to this video for now. Hope this helps!

Do you also know perhaps any tips for folding or knowing how much should I fold?
The lines help but don’t know if once I glue it it folds into place or if I have to make any precisions

usually there two different type of lines. here a link that shows the type of lines. paperpoly.com
there is also a technique if the papercraft have curly parts. we use roller or pencil on it to give it subtle curl.

It helps to fold the pieces /flaps before applying glue. Don't make hard a crease (only if the papercraft demands it) otherwise a white line/crack will appear in the texture. Apply enough pressure to bend the part but don't crease it, and for curling just use a pen or toothpick if it is a tiny piece. I hope you understand. I would recommend using a paper that is around 140-150 gsm if possible.

you can refer to this video, where you'll see how I fold and paste

Again thank you!
I already started building it!
I manage to make a leg, I think she looks very polygonal but I have advance too much to stop now but it’s not looking horrible and I’m glad!
Also in witch cases should I curl in this one, like the skirt the hair or any other part?
Again thank you for your help

That sounds wonderful! I will be able to tell better if you can show some pictures of it. You can curl the legs, the skirt, the arms, and almost any cylindrical shape.. Also the ends of the hair...

For example, you see in this one, I curved the leg parts using a pen and also the skirt before making pleats

nice good job. as there already tips above. I can only give this tip. use pencil colour/ marker to the white line or cracks if those appear when you fold hard creases. if you have any doubts if the colour x match. alway685.gif try to colour the back side of it to test if the colour match or not. This can also hide the white paperlines.
