Bardock (バーダック) is a fictional character in Dragon Ball Z. His name is a pun on the large herb burdock (this pun is more obvious in the Dragon Ball manga , where the character's name spelled means Chi Niu table).
Bardock has quite typical Saiyan personality traits. He enjoys fighting and destruction, and is a cold-blooded killer. He is a cavalier and fearless character. Bardock thinks little of his role as a father, so he usually doesn't acknowledge Kakarot's child , unless it's a topic of conversation in his regiment. However, Bardock cares deeply for the members of his army.
