[The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya] Suzumiya Haruhi papercraft
The anime adaptation of Haruhi Suzumiya's Sorrow (涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu ? ) , produced by Kyoto Animation and directed by Ishihara Tatsuya, consisting of 14 episodes, has aired in Japan since May 2. 4 to 2 July 2006. It was originally broadcast in a nonlinear order, with the opening paragraph and the first seven chapters of the first novel mixed in with chapters from several later novels. The "next episode" trailers include two different episodes: a number from Haruhi, who numbered the episodes in chronological order, and a number from Kyon, who numbered them in order of broadcast. DVD releases begin with "Episode 00" and are then shown in chronological order.
