Marvel Studios really wants Spiders to appear in their Marvel Cinematic Universe. And they managed to make a deal with Sony. Fortunately, Sony agreed because both found this to be beneficial for both sides. Spiders appear in Marvel movies, the more revenue is guaranteed. Meanwhile, Sony still has plans for its new Spider series (the new part will be out in 2017), the revenue of whoever keeps it, benefits both sides.
