Old Kai tells Gohan to stand still and then, he starts doing some dancing, circling around the young Saiyan. Confused, Gohan asks why is he dancing, but Old Kai tells him to be quiet, for this is an important ritual. Goku asks how long this will take, and Old Kai says five hours for the ritual, twenty hours for the power up. Goku decides to take a nap, while Kibito and Shin realize they should probably stay awake. Gohan is frustrated that he must now stay still and wait for Old Kai to finish in the next twenty-five hours.
