The design of Me-tan, the personification of Windows Me, is very much in line with the Japanese concept of a cute or attractive girl. Her design is largely unchanged from the artist's original design, and is depicted with long, green pigtails and a maid outfit. The icon on her apron resembles the Windows error icon. Although she shows herself to be a hard worker, she is often depicted as "stumbling" at everything she tries to do, often freezing up unexpectedly, much to the annoyance of her sisters. Additionally, when she is slow or out of control, she will engage in unnatural behavior that shows a lack of common sense, such as heating up baking soda in the microwave or defending herself by waving green onions.
