Automata Jumping Monkey by Kamikara Papercraft
Kamikara got from book
With the exception of humans , the Macaque is the most widely distributed primate genus in the world (especially in Southeast Asia ) with a habitat extending from Japan to Southeast Asia , to Afghanistan and, in the case of Barbary monkeys , in North Africa . There are 22 species of macaques currently recognised, and these include some of the most common to the public, such as the brown macaque ( Macaca mulatta ) and the Barbary monkey ( M. sylvanus ), of which one population occurs in Mount Gibraltar. Although some species have no tails and are called apes , all of them are true "monkeys" (and not apes) and are not more closely related to apes than to other species. Other Old World monkeys.
